The GeForce cheaper than halfway-decent is probably the 7300GT (it costs around $ 60). A look at the previous-generation models instead of the latest designs can provide a solid basis for less $ $ $.
If your budget can vary try to at least a 7600GT or 8600GT, which carry $ 25 more for a card that much faster.
